VAIO desktop will not reboot with recov' disc

Specs: Windows 7
i have a sony vaio desktop model number PCV-RS430G with a reboot problem. I was surfing the net and thought i was getting a virus so i quickly powered down (holding down power button, i know your not supposed to) and unplugged the internet connection. now my computer will not start up and the message "We apologize for the inconvienece, but windows did not start succe...." and my recovery discs will not work. When i put in the first one (of two) it tries to go but after a long period of blue screen it pops up "sony vaio recovery wizzard cannot access recovery partition". I recently (about 3 months ago) installed a second hard drive for more space and all that works fine, then my "C" drive wasn't large enough to support the programs i had installed. I extended the partition on the first hard drive. Factory it was like 5 gig for the recovery partition, 13 gig for the "C" drive, and 96 gig for storage. I followed directions for extending my partition and my computer would not allow me to extend it only 10-25 gig it would only work extending it the full rest of the disk which made it like 101 gig for my "C" drive. My second drive is for storage only, its divided about 60-40 gig. Is there any hope of restoring my drive or maybe buying another new master drive? My second drive only cost me 55 dollars.

With todays high speed data transfer capabilities, it would be wiser to buy a 500GB hard drive and use recovery discs to restore your system. I did this just before Dec 2010 and I haven't had any complaints. If you are looking to buy discs, i would recommend

Private message me if you need any assistance..
