I had problems in one of my hd, one partition, NTFS 160 GB, so I run chkdsk /f. I got this message:
CHKDSK cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. CHKDSK may run if this volume is dismounted first. ALL OPENED HANDLES TO THIS VOLUME WOULD THEN BE INVALID. Would you like to force a dismount on this volume? Y/N
I said "yes", and then it deleted all the information in the drive. Or at least it appears to be deleted. Then it started to do other things, like opening paint and drawing a square, or opening the calculator and doing some numbers, or opening the notepad and writing this message: "The system cannot open the files".
My antivirus software (nod32) doesn't detect a virus, but it looks like one to me. I don't know what to do and I need to get back my 160 GB. Is there any way I can do this?
Thanks.abguess

if you type the CHKDSK error message into google you get a bunch of sites with info that may help you
