Today, I got noticed that 'Go to My PC was opened in the taskbar of my windows, whick I've not installed!!!!!!!
I'm worring about somebody took my data from my PC. I used to set the folder option as 'hide' for important folders not to be seen.
Here's my questions,
1. can 'go to My PC' download the files in my computer from remote site?
2. Can 'go to my PC' search the files which was hided so is not displayed?
3. Can 'Go to my PC' break the firewall and control my PC? (I think it's my fault to deactivate the firewall for a while)

Zack,
The program GoToMyPC is a remote access program that you can use to access your PC from anywhere, and it is usually for OFFICE PCs for people who want to work from home but access their PC at work for example. HOwever, from what I can gather even to download the TRIAL, you need to give your credit card details. SO,, what do you have????
Is it Go to MY PC, or GoToMyPC?? I can't find anything on the former other than it directing me to the real program. If it just POPPED up, then I am suspecting it maybe a Browser Hijack in the guise of GoToMyPC
