Tried several times to download the CWShredder Update. But it downloads as a zip file, which for some reason, I can't open. Anyone else finding this to be true?

hey KR,
for the record, CWSHredder updates aren't internal, like with SpyBot or SpywareBlaster. the update you downloaded is intended to replace the old CWShredder.exe
good luck AOSCLAY

Hello everyone,
I hope you are enjoying the holiday season. Thanks for all your responses. It was as AOSCLAY pointed out. I needed to erase the previous version before opeing a new one. Now that I erased the old version, the new one installed fine.
Summary: i am using mcafee virus scan 8.0. i have ten computers in network. i want a script/ batch file through which i can update the virus files in all the machines. Thanks in advance ...
