I updated my AdAware thinking that would correct the computer problems I have been having the last few days. Well, it helped in a way, but not completely. 1. My AdAware still comes up with the: VX2 BetterInternet. How can I get this off my computer? 2. For some reason my Spybot S&D continues to come up with a Registry Key, Look2Me. How can I get rid of this? 3. Also, my husband has something on my (and his) computer that shows up in AdAware as well as Spybot S&D. It is eAcceleration. He says we need it for a couple programs we have here. I know it shows up in the searches, but is eAcceleration really something bad to have? 4. I don't recall ever messing with it, but someone the other day mentioned about my scan registry being on autorun. Is that not a good thing? And if not, how do I change it? Download Spy Sweeper. It will remove BI and a whole lot more including traces of all malware you ever had. Pay for the update. This updated program is now, in my humble opinion, the best spyware killer around. G-luck.

Ok, that scan is done. It found some things. I deleted those. But then I ran the AdAware again to be sure, and that VX2 BetterInternet is still there.

Where/what is listed by adaware?

The "VX2 BetterInternet" is still showing up in AdAware. Also still having problems with the other items mentioned before (Look2Me and eAcceleration)

G'day deerainville, The latest AdAware reffile (01R 257) has new definitions for Vx2 BetterInternet. I'm sorry, I don't quite understand...Is AdAware detecting Vx2 but not removing it? Do you have AAW set for a Full Scan? Full AAw Scan Settings
