Specs: Windows XP
My PC has 4 accounts setup. My account started to pop up with security alert from the task bar from a green shield. It then asked to run virus software and began a scan coming up with several security issues and to clear them I needed to purchase their software. The other 3 accounts run however when they start up windows detects and prompts the user do they want to download an exe file which path was on my account under docs and settings. I made sure that all the account holders cancelled and did not download. I then decided to delete my account which worked however all the other account holders still kept getting this download prompt. I then went into Doc and settings and found that my old account folder was still there I could delete all but the NTUSER file. It lookslike this download prompt is inside the NTUSER.dat file is there a way of stopping this or will I need to perform a full format of the drive.
