This may totally be alright, but I just want to check to be sure. I noticed that my internet explorer when I am using the internet takes about 50k on task manager, and Firefox starts at about 20k and eventually gets to 40k. This seems kind of high, but I just want to be sure that is OK, and there isn't spyware or something.

Is task manager always very accurate when it comes to telling your memory usage? I ask because even when I play memory intensive games, Ill pull up task manager out of curiosity and it still won't be more than a few 100k (100mbs) being used.

(By the way when did computing.net get a spell checker)

Not really a Security question...but 50K? Are you sure that's correct? That's nothing as far as Mem Usage is concerned.
"100k (100mbs)" 100k and 100MB are not the same...

Life's more painless for the brainless.

... and if you want a more accurate and real-time reading of the processes, go to M$ Windows Sysinternals and download Process Monitor v1.26 from HERE.
