Unknown File in Winsock LSP

Hijack This scan stated I have an unknown file in the Winsock LSP named C:/windows/system32/nwprovau.dll. What is this file? Is it harmful to my pc; because I am unable to connect to the internet? How do I remove this file? Thanks in Advance for your advice and support.

Edited to add: If you can't access the Internet with the problem computer and download the LSPFix use another computer and download it to a CD, floppy, thumb drive then transfer it to the problem computer and run it.
