Working on my friends W2K computer cause it's acting funny. I come across this file that's using up cpu time like crazy.
It's called "winkqdx.exe"
I can find zero info about this thing. It's also a service that's entered in the registry as Legacy_Winkqdx

Can anyone help me here? Tell me what this is or what they think it is.
It's rare that a file exists on a computer but a simple web search turns up nothing. And a search a M$ support area has nothing as well.

Thanks in advance!

From what I have seen Wink is the Klez Virus File. The Trend and Symantec sites have all the information you need to get rid of it. All the best!
