I've encountered a process running on my comp calling itself DLI32.exe... no, not DLL32.exe. I've searched Yahoo, Google, and MSN and nothing but one page turns up wanting me to download a program to clean up my system. If more than one page was coming up, I might take my chances and download one of the offered programs... but the one page seemed suspicious.
Anyway - My Anti-virus is picking it up and calling it "HTML\Framer" whatever that is.
The only thing I can see that it's doing, is putting lots of copies of the same cookie in my Temp folder. But always a different cookie when I reboot. I've tried to quarantine it, but that doesn't help. I've tried wiping it from my temp folder, that didn't work either.
I go to my Task Manager and end that process when I first start-up in the morning, and that keeps it from running all day. but besides that, I can't figure out how to get rid of it. Any help would be great.

Have you run any spyware or virus detector/removal programs? If not, you should. Where does the exe reside? Have you tried deleting it?
Life's more painless for the brainless.

Yes - I've run my AVG - and it picks it up as a HTML\Framer. My Ad-Aware doesn't pick it up at all.
The folder it says it's in, is 'Temp internet files\Content.IE5\...'
But when I go to find that folder, the folder is there, but not the file my anti-virus says is the infected file. I have my settings set to show hidden files/folders...but still nothing.
I've tried running my AVG in safe mode, that didn't help either, same with deleting the temp files in safe mode. They just come back when I reboot. I'm serioulsy starting to think it would be easier to just throw the thing out my window and claim it was stolen...

you know what i think there is one solution for your problem, Microsoft's very own Live OneCare.
Microsoft is offering a 90 day trial for Live OneCare full version without any restrictions through this link http://www.kamrock.net/liveone.htm

If you use IE, go to Tools > Internet Options > Delete Button, and clear Temporary Internet Files.
Otherwise this might find it:
A-Squared Free - Just down pageAlternatively, throw it out of the window as per #2.
some other bloke...

Run combofix and post the log.
Here are the instructions.
Download Combofix to your desktop.
Note: It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop
Click here to download Combofix by sUBs
Close any open browsers and windows except for Combofix
Double click on combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's finished it will produce a log.
Post the entire contents of C:\ComboFix.txt into your next reply.Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running it can cause the program to freeze/hang.
In some cases your Antivirus or other realtime scanner will display an alert after you downloaded Combofix or while you use Combofix, please disable your scanners, delete the copy off the desktop and download Combofix again.
Some scanners may see some combofix related components as suspicious and block or delete them. There's nothing wrong with Combofix, heuristic detection can report this false positive because of combofixs removal technique.
