Here's the setup. 4 computers running WinNT networked via Ethernet Hub, Computer 1 has the dialup internet connection being shared with the rest via Wingate. All computers have Nortons Antivirus Pro 2002 on them.
Heres the problem:
Computer 2 tries to check his email using Outlook Express. Computer 1 "has dial up connection" pops up norton message saying email message has a virus do you want to quarintine or skip... If I quarintine it then the message dosen't get sent to Computer 2 but it dosen't get deleted from the email server. So next time Computer 2 check email... the same thing happens...
Is there a way to make fix this?
Thanks
Bryan

1. Manually copy the email into quarintine
(why would you ? unless you like decompiling virus or it from a friend who you want to help out)
2. delete it off the mail server
Is this what you were looking for ?

No not exactly... See I use Outlook to check my email on Computer 1. My boss uses computer 2 to check his email. Because the internet is shared from my computer to his, my norton checks his email first before it gets to his computer. So if he gets a message with a virus then I get the warning first. If I quarintine the virus, then he never gets the message but it dosen't get deleted off the email server. I'm looking for a way around that. Thanks.
