✔ Best Answer

The usual reason why any AV (or firewall) gives issues when uninstalling is because it was not properly disabled before doing so.

Use the appropriate uninstaller here:

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hello Derek,

Thanks a lot for your great advice! I already got your tip on another post concerning
AVG uninstallation issues and figured I was doing the same mistake! I lost half of my
apps last week on that , reinstalled AVG stupidly to reuninstall it today!! With Revo
again without deleting all the leftovers...The PC is happy now to install any utility,
forbidden secretely by AVG.Also could delete undeletable empty folders straight away!! What a surprise.
Best regards.
