All of a sudden my scroll lock is on & will not go off when i it the button. It goes off its own & then will come back on also. Some times the num lock will go on & off also. I upgraded to Norton 360 & it does not find anything & I also ran ad-ware. I am lost.

you will find some good free cleaners with basic instructions in the link on my signature, all listed on one page to make it more convenient. Get those and run them.

I'm not sure, but I would try a system restore back to before the problem and see if that helps.

I' won't say much about norton, I really don't think that is an upgrade IMO. Why pay for an anchor (resource hog) when you can get great AV's for free for home use as well as firewalls.

post back if you still have the problems, thanks

When you have suspicious behavior like that, you've got to rule out an INFECTION.
Assuming your keyboard is properly functioning otherwise,
maybe it's PINWORM or another worm-like infection or worse, a REMOTE ACCESS TROJAN.

XpUser4Real - for some reason my computer will not do a system restore. I tried it several times and it did not work.

EC - I saw that article yesterday and I tried everything it suggested, but still cannot locate anything.

My sister, a computer expert, who lives over an hour away is going to come up during the week to see if she can work on it. It was very hard to do over the phone. So hopefully she will find whatever it is.

Thanks for all your help. Please let me know if you have an other helpful information. I'll let you know you happens.

Kristen
