We need to know what virus it is. And what operating system do you have? But did you try deleting it in safe mode? If not restart into safe mode and run your av scanner from there and see if it'll delete the virus.

TROJ_BOSERVER is the back orifice trojan which means a hacker has access to your computer. As I asked before you need to tell me what operating system you have? But did you try deleting it in safe mode? If not restart into safe mode and see if it'll delete from there.
And what do mean the trojan file is called .exe? Have a look at this:
Is the infected file called _.exe.exe? What's the exact name?
Click start--run--type msconfig--click ok--open the startup tab and tell us everything that's checked there including the path shown for each. By path i mean c:\windows\system etc.
Also, try this first. Get Moosoft's Cleaner and run it. It's a trojan specific scanner that may remove the trojan for you. Do that and let us know the results. www.moosoft.com
