Unable to remove AVG 8.5 from my programmes

Specs: Windows Vista
I have tried everything to remove this stupid programme and nothing is working. When i try to uninstall i get the following error.
Installer initialization failed due to following error:
Error: @AvgErrorCode_0x0253 %FILE% = "C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8"
@AvgErrorCode_0x0020

I have tried the remover tool and also hundreds of clear up tools and nothing is working.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP :o)

WOW... 100's of clean up tools, that's alot.
Try revo uninstaller and it will also clean out all the registry entries of AVG.

Then I would suggest Avast free, much better real-time protection and no scheduled scans needed.

If you had Norton or McAfee installed before trying AVG, be sure to get the uninstallers from their respective websites...add/remove leaves all kinds of trash in the registry.

Ok, Ive pressed download on Revo unistaller and pressed run etc once it does everything and all the boxes dissapear nothing happens and nothing opens and Revo is not on my computer anywhere (unless it not supposed to be).
Ive also tried the AVG unistaller but as soon as i press run and all the little boxes disapear nothing happens and nothing opens.

tap f8 on bootup and choose safe mode.
Once in safe mode run revo

Ok. Pressed F8 and went into safe mode, Ran REVO from there the same thing happened. Press run on all the mini pop up boxes and then after they dissapeared nothing happens.

click on the hunter mode and delete all avg from the registry
