Comment:

I can't delete this specific file under Microsoft/Messenger in Local Settings/Application Data under C Drive as it is hidden and even though I try to get to the file , it gives me an error and closes my Windows before I can even go near it to delete the root file. Is there anyway else to delete it? And also , I tried using Virus scans and it seemed to stop at this specific file and it hangs. I'm very sure it's a virus. Help please!

First, you should enable show hide files and folders and then try to delete.

Yes, It may be a virus problem. You should scan your computer in Safe Mode with updated anti virus software or updated spyware removal tools, like Malwarebytes.
