Ok here goes, a few days ago my msn explorer started to refuse to sign in, it would spend ages trying to connect then it would come up with either:
Password is wrong or there was a problem with the internet connection, msn messenger would do the same. Well now I cannot access any email sites except my ISP one. Places like hotmail, gmail and my university email just come up that the page was unable to be displayed etc. This problem is on both IE and mozilla. I have spyware blaster, spybot search and destroy and pc cillin.
Also havent been able to do online virus scans because active x controls are not enabled...even when they already are.

Reboot your computer and press F8 on the screen right before windows xp boots, your IE probably is infected with spyware if your firefox works since Internet Explorer is one of the biggest spyware targets, since its the internet browser people use.
