The problem s that if I am using MS Internet Explorer and ry to type a message, passcode, or anyhing, characters randomly d not appear even though I type properly on the keyboard. I must go back and insert the missing characters before sending an e-mail or whatever. The problem began a few weeks ago and is only evident when I am using internet explorer. When I use any other program, the eyboard works propery. I am purposely nt fixing errors that appear in this note to give you an idea of the problem. I hve tried several virus cans wh no reult. Any help is ppreciated. (I am ot really his bad a typist!!!)

Programs ike Wrd, excel, and ohers work perfectly. I really thinksomething is messing with explorer. I know this looks and sounds crazy but it is the truth. Any help is appreciated.

Windows XP comes with Internet Explorer 6. Microsoft has made IE part of the core operating system. If you think IE is screwed up, and want to repair it, you must use the sfc command:
Start > Run, copy & paste > Sfc /scannow & press Enter.

This will scan and restore protected system files ( which IE is )
