Ok, I have got this thing down to 2 trojans according to NOD32. They are:
C:\WINDOWS\dasxl.dll - Win32/Trojan.Downloader.Winshow.AK trojan
and
C:\WINDOWS\System\Winml32.exe - win32/Agent.BQ trojanNOD32 can not clean these. I have searched in my windows folder and also in my registry and can't find these.
How do I get rid of them?
Thanks

hi Stacy,
first and foremost make sure nod32 is uptodate..2. restart computer and press f8 until u see a menu choice with safe mode....select safe mode, click on administrator as log in....
3. u should see nod32 icon on desktop open it....u see the tabs, heres what u do...on actions...choose "delete" "rename". on setup...choose deep on right and advance heuristic scan and scan all files at bottom.
4. now click scan...click clean and let it scan your files..i bet now it will delete your infections or rename them .
if no luck just post back.

VirisKiller, thanks it seemed to have worked. I did as you said, it found them, then I hit the clean button and it cleaned them. That is wierd that I had to do it in Safe Mode, I would have never have thought to do that. Thanks so much for your help! THe computer is running better and I feel better now.

well stacy most trojan are activated or running in normal windows.....therefore its always best to run your protection programs in safe mode.reason for safe mode is for troubleshooting, windows only loads up the nessary files..thus no other programs load up with it unless they infect..windows itself.
but most common trojans or viruses arent that advanced to that .

Stacy,
Your 2 trojans removed.
My pc with Windows98 has Trojan horse Dialer.10.D
Virus Object:
C:\Windows\TemporaryInternetFiles\Content.IES\4x...That Grisoft AVG 7.0 Professional Anti-Virus program cannot remove.
I've run the AVG everyday and it cannot remove the Embedded Trojan virus.
What more can I do to get rid of the Trojan?
