today i brought defender pro 15 in 1 ultimate security. but microsoft security essentials won't let me install the defender. I tried uninstalling microsoft but i can find it in programs and features.
Defender Pro 15 is scamware and should not be used. I would install Avast free version, shame you paid for Defender Pro because they will not refund you. If you paid by credit card quickly get in touch with your bank and cancel the transaction. https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/...

Mr. Goodguy is giving good advice, I to use Avast. Now if you need to uninstall MSE, to install Avast, but it won't uninstall here is the removal tool from Microsoft fix it utility. This should remove MSE for you.
Unfortunate but there are a lot of weird programs on the internet. For the future get independent advice before touching anything out there, and search Google to see if there is any bad press. This includes magic fix-all programs which are almost always scams.
