Comment:

is saying about some new and dangerous virus.

He claims that someone is sending viruses to people on an online forum.

he goes on to say that the virus creator sends the viruses this way:

"A: There are 2 ways he can do this first and easyist is to follow your email line but he need your email address he has this because when you go to members it is there the only way to break a link is to remove all internet wires from your computer.

The 2nd and most hardest way is to break thru your protection systems if you are with aol or google they have secret stoper a last ditch atempt if you will if they break this your internet will fall your chip will crack and the mother baord will over laod and possibly blow.

next to all the programs listed try and get (watter fall) it the best one for the job you will need version 12.8 or higher .unlike other virus's it leaves memory compleat and unharmed the 1 st one attacks all systems but the damage is small compared to the 2nd one "

I honestly do not have a clue what he is talking about nor do I think he may in fact be even telling the truth

the guy is also claiming that it was him and a friend that created the virus (one 15 and the other 17 years old) , he also says that opening the email will be enough to get it.

These guys are yanking your chain. There is no software that can crack your chip and blow your computer.

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day;
Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime;
Then industry pollutes the water and kills all the fish.

Relax, I am definitely sure that he can't do it provided with your intensive care while online with a firewall behind you! Well, if you want to try, you can use the Mcafee (I forgot is the antivirus or security software), when someone attack your system, their IP is automatically be reported to you with their location and you will then report back to their ISP!

Or if even serious, goto the nearest FBI Internet Security section! I bet you should know this FBI stuff as I am not at USA or so but I do heard they got a site where you can complain about this internet crime!

Chris Foo

There are many things that can be accomplished with the right tools,and with the right person using them.It seems that many members on this site have a "let say" a moderate understanding of security.There are many avenues of controling,or damaging your pc.If you have experienced user of rootkits,then there are many backdoors on a pc that can be comprimized.Many people think that the only avenue is through an operating system,but your hardware is a battle field for someone with knowledge.What if i say that your Epprom chip on your motherboard has enough room to harbour a device that can be used to shut down your system,and the only way to remove the device is by erasing your epprom "IF" succesfull,and thats if any antivirus is advanced enough to detect it.There are many others i can touch on,but i dont want to scare you.
