Hi, Can some one suggest me a free alternative software to truecrypt which doesn't require admin privileges and which is portable? I like truecrypt and I used it to create a virtual encrypted volume in my pen drive which has my sensitive data. However, when I try to mount the volume using truecrypt in other PC, the PC gets rebooted. I tried it several times, but truecrypt is not mounting the volume. Can some one suggest me a free alternative software similar to truecrypt? I am looking for the following features. 1. Should be able to create a encrypted volume which can hold any type of data. 2. Should support on-the-fly encryption and decryption. 3. Should be portable 4. Should not require admin privileges. I found couple of alternatives like crosscrypt, freeotfe but these freewares require admin priviliges. I have admin privilege at my home and work, but may not have the admin privilege everywhere I go. Thanks, Balaji.
