Good evening,

I have been trying most of the day to connect to 'spywareinfo.com' in order to update 'HiJackThis and CWShredder' but I keep getting a message saying this site could be busy or could be down.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Thanks and regards,

Phil

No joy at this end either, Phil.

It could be another DDoS attack, or may be related to Merijn's retirement

Is v1.97 still the latest for HJT?

Hi jboy,

I was surfing Major Geeks ( HJT 1.98 hot fix) and saw they had a HJT 1.98 download. That is how I discovered I couldn't get through to 'spywareinfo.com' when I tried to update my current 1.97.

Thanks for the information about Merijn hanging up the spikes. I sure hope someone jumps in and picks up the slack. He would be sorely missed.

Thanks and Regards,

Phil

Definitely.

Perhaps the current downtime is unrelated.

Thanks for the HJT! update.

Hi jboy,

You're most welcome!

I also picked up the latest version of CWShredder while I was at MajorGeeks (Version 1.59.1).

Have to run now. Fireworks start in about an hour to celebrate the 4th of July. One of the best views in town is right on my front porch.

Have to get the $10 tickets printed up and ready so I can take advantage of it ...lol

Seriously, have a great week!

Thanks and regards,

Phil
