One of my employees got this virus from I dont know where.. I ran AVG and it came up with trojan horse dialer and trojen horse.generic6.abbl downloader or something or another... I am not able to fully boot the computer up, after logging into windows I only see a backround page, no icons, so it is difficult to navigate around the computer, I can find any information that is exaclty like this to try and fix, does anyone have any ideas???

have you tried safe mode yet?
If you can, then select safe mode with networking. Then you can get on-line and do some up-dated virus and spyware scans.

I am able to get into safe mode, however, the screen is black with safe mode written in the 4 corners of the screen... been trying to work on this for 4 days now and am very frustrated and really have no clue what I am doing, just kinda fumbling around... I keep running AVG and deleting the viruses it finds.. trojan horse dialer.qlw and trojan horse downloader.generic6.abbj... but when I reboot the screen is still blank... please help :)

have you turned off system restore and then scanned? If they keep coming back, that is probably where they are hidden. Be sure to turn sys restore back on after cleaning the PC.
