my computer was infected with a trojen horse. it starts off saying downloading package and it says cant be found, continue. i erased the files that were on my computer that showed virus problems. it annoys me at start up because it always reports a different trojen horse virus file. it deletes it automatically, but comes back every start up. it also displays a internet connection display about 20 times which i cancel all every start up. how do i deal with this??

Find out what port it is running on...

Start>Run> netstat -an

if you don't understand that then email me at hotmail okay...

If you find out which port it is running on, you can do a google search to find out which trojan it is and how to remove it...

Just type in the port number and google will come back with lotz of results hopefully.

or you can email me the results, copy and paste results from your command prompt: highlight data, hit enter, then right click and paste into email or text doc...

You might want to check the virus called "pretty park". This type of virus will try to create a connection to your ISP automatically. You might have twenty or so DUN's on your taskbar. Let me know if this helps.
