TROJAN.STARTPAGE ... ??removal??

Norton Anti Virus had detected a virus called TROJAN.STARTPAGE and Norton can not remove it....any idea how can i delete it?? any program , any way?? Thanx

Also , I would try updating your Anti-Virus and putting your firewall to stealth mode , You should also use more caution on the sites you visit , I see you have a lot of these issues

BOB: that site u sent me to is not HOT, too complicated, no program to download to remove the virus, i need a simple thing.

If you scroll down the page You will see a section that has the Removal instuctions
If you spend 5 minutes to "READ IT" you can cure your problem
"that site u sent me to is not HOT, too complicated" ????
Not everything is easy in life , and if you want to visit sites that infect you constantly, get use to it!!
Note: It will also tell you how to update your virus definitions

Hi All,
I have the same problem! I got the Trojan.Startpage virus and Norton Anti Virus couldn't remove it. I followed all instructions on the Symantec site, but it didn't work. I have been fighting this curse for several weeks. I was just informed on 2 free programs that help "Freesurfer" & hijackthis. They seem to work, but I still have the virus on my system. My next step is to follow Microsoft's instructions on removal. Any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated. THEY SHOULD CUT THE FINGERS OFF ANYONE WHO CREATES THESE VIRUSES!!!
