Hi,

trying to keep this short and sweet...I was experiencing google redirects and other similar problems to people on this board, so I disabled the TDSSserv or whatever it's called.

I am now able to visit sites that were previously blocked, but I am unable to download the malwarebytes or hijackthis programs that are suggested quite often on these boards.

I have even tried changing the name when saving the setup file with no success. a 0kb .exe file is created on the desktop and the download never initializes.

i am constantly getting IE pop-ups while using firefox which is obviously malware that i am having trouble getting rid of.

i was able to repair several of my other problems by using my friend's repair tool he has from working at Staple's as a technician, but these last few trojans are just giving me quite a bit of grief, so any help is greatly appreciated.
