Hi,

I believe i have quite a few trojan horses on my pc, i am receiving 2 system32 errors when logging on.

I have tried to edit incorrect regdit enteries (no change), run a full system scan in safe mode using norton, & PC Tool software but they do not detect anything.

When i try access norton or avast the web browser automatically closes.

I just found a previous post saying to download spysweeper from www.webroot.com but i just attempted to access the page and it was also shut down.

If anyone knows of a method that actually works, please let me know. I am sooo tried of trying to figure this out on my own.

Is the next step to just reinstall windows? I really don't want to have to do that.

You could try an online scan instead of an onboard scan and removal program.

Housecall from TrendMicro can be buggy but has helped me in the past with that bugger.

Another option might be to do pre-windows scan with F-Prot. Also search out Ultimate Boot CD which had F-Prot the last time I looked. It worked the last time I used it on XP to remove that particular old nasty trojan.

If you can't access these site then you have a trojan that is attempting to block them or their updates and scans.

Always a way but try first things first.
