Have checked to see if they listed in the startup programs, START/RUN/MSCONFIG? If they are uncheck them hit ok/apply and restart. Then see what happens upon startup.

You using the mIRC chat client, someone had been backdoored into your puter and altered the settings, please check in your script.ini to see anything altered from them then you'll have to uninstall then install the mirc if that happened altered in script.ini files.

I recommend get a firewall to protect your puter to stop backdooring or hackings..

thank you for replying guys. i already installed a firewall. i think i was able to remove component of the virus coz during start up the 3 mirc doesn't appear anymore but a message said that it can't find a filename name-"temp.exe". then a 2nd message appear saying i should remove it from the registry. i check my files and i think i found it i'm not sure. anyone familiar with
"Winkb6.exe"? i tried removing it but it can't be removed the message appearing says "access denied. the source file maybe in use." i look it up at google even in yahoo search but there is no article matching it. please tell me what it is? and what is the best thing that i should do...

The Wink*.exe (* randomized charcters), you need to edit the registery and system config or INI files in the root dir (hidden files).. go download the removal tools from the antivirus websites, be sure UNTICKED the system restore features then reboot and you can run the remover tool. after it's gone you can ticked it back into system restore and reboot. (XP system only).
