Am stuck with a virus/trojan, possibly zlob, running a warning in my status bar and constantly taking over my ie. Help? I read some of the other messages and downloaded HJT from that link, but is it ok for Vista? Also, spybot identified smitfraud. It may be gone..

Fixed the problem, just want to give you an idea of the solution..
the files were located in program files under a directory called NetProject. I logged in via safemode to make sure the dll's and exe's were not loaded. Then removed the directory (moved it to a junk name for safety till I knew it was it) and went into regedit and removed all keys associated with any of the dll's, exe's ico's etc. The only key I was unsure of was a process key. I simply put (value not set) in lieu of the location of the exe or dll.
This one will probably show up under other names than NetProject. I think spybot identified it as zlob, but couldn't remove it. good luck if anyone else gets it.
Norton 360 didn't even know it was there. At least spybot gave me some ideas about it's existance.
