You visited a web page with an applet containing the Exploit Byte Verify. Sun's Java stores it in a cache file. That's why you are seeing it in a virus scan. As long as you are running Sun's Java you are safe. Go into Control Panel and select the Java option. One of the tabs it will bring up is "Cache". Abnormal Thanks! I have been looking for that solution for about 2 weeks now...I had my av quarentine the affected applets I had in there but was unsure how it would affect the java...didn't understand the cashe part I guess (shaking my head)....hahaha easy enough! I didn't even know about the java controls...good point to keep in mind. So if I understand right...those applets that are in the cache file...they get installed when you visit a website...therefore any good ones that were in there get reloaded next time you go to that site..right?

Blender I am having problems the same sort of virus. I am not still sure if it will not return, but I can tell you about the Java Cache. Step by step: Control Panel Java Plug In Click on the Cache tab Click on the Clear Button I did it in my computer, and it is still working :-) Good luck.
