Trojan that wont go away!

Hi all
I am being driven mad by a trojan that keeps poping its ugly head up every 2 mins or so. Its telling me that i need to install programs like pest-trap, asware buster etc. I have ran the usual programs like spybot and it had told me that it has found a problem in the c drive C:\WINDOWS\system32/ncompat.tlb. I have tried to delet the file but its says its being used by another program and wont let me delete it.. I feel this is the cause of the trojan.. I may be wrong can u help i any way...

You could also try Ewido Antimalware. Use the free scanner,it's up to you if you want to use the 14 day trial of the monitor component.

It seems your not alone a quick google of ncompat.tlb resulted in lots of info from Trojan.zlob, Vcodec, spyaxe and spyfalcon all seem to drop this file.
Can you tell us first the name of the Trojan as you dont mention this, Is it Trojan.Zlob? if so the microsoft malicious software removal tool will remove it, also tell us the anti-virus software you are using.
As suggested by jim bean Ewido is good, as is a-squared, all the links are on nowyoudo.co.uk
