trojan rebooting computer

July 20, 2010 at 14:11:57
Specs: XP
Was streaming a movie on a site which apparently gave me a Trojan virus. After this i tried to remove it by antivirus, but since an unknown "antivirus" began scanning i shut the PC down. After this i cant get further than the XP loading when you start your comp. Are there any other options than reinstalling windows?

Yes, im actually doing safemode now. Couldn't enter it before because of the keyboard woudn't work - but its working now.

At the moment im just running AVG and SpyBot
havent completed scan yet but i can see some of the incounters:

Trojan horse downloader.generatic_c
Trojan horse clicker.AFJE
Trojan horse Cryptic.APT
virus Worm/generic.BMTO

But im guessing some wont be killed by my shields :/

I've entered normal mode and removed/deleted the infected Trojans/virus from the AVG's vault

The question is now:" Is the trojans/vrius that i have deleted GONE?"

damage controll :p
