Turn of "system restore"(My Computer>Properties>System Rstore tab) and then restart your computer. Run AVG's and Trojan Remover's scan and if the system is clean you can turn "system restore" back on. "System Restore" files are protected and no antivirus/trojan program can clean/delete/repair them. If you like using "system restore", I recommend setting it to 4% instead instead of the default 12% if you have a large harddrive to save disk space. Some people leave it turned off. Take care and all the best!

Hi Matty,
Have you tried running CWShredder? It has solved problems for me (trojan.bookmarker and trojan.bookmarker.E). You can download it for free here: http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html
Good luck,
Tanja

Tried switching off the system restore. Restarted computer and ran CW Shredder, AVG, Anti Trojan sheild, window washer and ad aware. They havnt found any suspicious files whatsoever but the message screen still pops up saying i have the Trojan.Downloader.Adroar.A , i have no idea what to do next. Any more advice??

I have already tried trojan removal and trend Micro Housecall. It says theres nothing there but i still get the popup from AVG telling me theres a trojan horse in the System restore folder. This may be a new undetectable trojan??

Trojan Horse Dowloader.Adroar.A

Tried every program i can think of to get rid of it but none of them can find it. Even tried turning off the system restore as mentioned above

Thanx for all replies people : )
