Try running the AVG program while you have your computer in SAFE MODE. To run in Safe Mode, reboot the computer, and hold down F8, and choose "Safe Mode with Networking", and once you have the desktop up, run an AVG scan.
I tried that and it did not work, but I did upgrade to Malwarebytes Pro and it did work. Although it conflicts with AVG 10 which I had to delete. I switched over to avast! antivirus and all seems well. Thank you.
