While trying to fix the trojan horse I noticed my sounds were gone. I used system restore and noticed the trojan is gone but my sounds never came back. I went to hp help site, control panel, checked drivers etc. When I click winamp it states no sound driver and tells me to check www.geocities/mmsystem002/ it is a web page that describes whats happening to me.Don't know if it's legit. When I try windows media player it says bad direct sound driver etc. error code 80004005 direct sound output u2.2.6 error. Should I follow the web page advice or try something else? Is this because of the trojan horse?
