When I ran McAfee Virus Scan, it state I have several unwanted program files that are Trojan Horse programs. When I try to delete or clean they state that "the disk is write-protected". The files are all in the C:\_RESTORE\TEMP folders. Are these already removed from operating on my system or is their something further I must do to rid my PC of these program files????

Turn off system restore(My Computer>properties>system restore). Restart the computer and enter the safe mode, use Mcaffee while in the safe mode, restart and scan from the normal mode, and if the system is clean you can turn system restore back on. System Restore files are protected, so your antivirus cannot get access to them, but virus/worm/trojan packets love to hide in them HTH
