avg reports "trojan horse generic11.ARIN, *.ARXI, *.ASCA Avg cant seem to get rid of it. can anybody walk me through removing this thing? any help would be very appreciated.

ran another scan and got some new extensions: .arjm, aslg. running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware as per another thread on this site. will post it and hijackthis asap

hi i had a similiar problem, mine said it couldn't get rid of it because it couldn't find it, so i write down the dirictory to the trojen, restatated the pc and then manually deleted it you may have to go into folder options and show hidden files to do this
