Comment:

Hiya peps, i'm having a bit of a nightmare. A trojan horse generic_\LML (i think that is what it was. AVG only sometimes shows me that it has identified it.) is preventing me from using the mmorpg i play regularly. Every time i click to start the game a message saying "l2.exe unable to run. plz check file and try again.". i have totally uninstalled + reinstalled however it hasn't helped. I have used a bunch of anti spyware scanning n deleting allong the way but to no avail. My pc is running normally it is just this 1 item that will not work (so far any way). Any suggestions?

Thx 4 your time in advance.

Don't tell us how you fixed it or anything. Why would we want to know that?

Hello Gif,

Please remove previous version of Hijackthis if you have installed and download it from here.

Download the "HijackThis" Installer from this link:

http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/e...

1. Save " HJTInstall.exe" to your desktop.
2. Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.
3. By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.
4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.
5.Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
6. Click "Save log" to save the log file and then the log will open in Notepad.
7. Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
8. Paste the log in your next reply.
9. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

Post Hijackthis Log in your next reply.
