This (Trojan horse Downloader.Small.9.AI) won't get off of my computer. Spybot doesn't acknowledge it, and although AVG sees it, it won't get rid of it. I have tried several other anti-viral programs and I even attempted manual deletion. I found exactly where it is, but it won't let me access it. It is in C:\Windows\system32\buofly... and it won't go away. I am lost!
Help!!!

hi angela,
lets try this:
disable your system restore to flush out your restore folder of the trojan.
get your latest anti-virus, anti-trojan, adaware, spybot defs.
reboot to safe mode, scan with all these, and delete all files they come up with.
clean your cache, temp files, history and cookie folder, and recycle bin.
now do a search and see if you can find the trojan server if found delete it.
reboot to normal mode, do a search again for that file, if found delete it.
re enable your system restore.
all the best,
murve

I've had similar problems. I've used spybot and avg to get rid of it, but it hasn't helped out. I've also disabled system restore, restarted computer, ran avg, enabled system restore, and restarted computer. It still has not gone away. I've tried going into c:\windows\system32 and looking for the file that it says, but I can't seem to find it.
Is there another way to get rid of this, PLEASE HELP...Thank you
Amit
