i recently run avg [free version]it discovered a virus trojan horse downloader which it healed, so no problem there...but heres the problem i have, everytime i'm on my computer for a period of time, avg's resident shield pop up box tells me this...virus trojan horse downloader dyfuca is found in file c:\system volume information[_restore. [30691cbo-29b4-4f92-9b36deb52918]\rp95\A0050377 . dll.and it tells me to run avg to get rid. which i do, but the test always comes up clean, i have also run ad aware and spybot, and my system is clear... anyone had similar problems and if so any solutions...

That file is in the system restore folder, to delete you will have to clear your restore points,by disabling system restore, if you rescan with your a/v after and it is clean reenable system restore.

you will lose all system restore points previously set.

Hello,
You have to know there is at least 8270 authentic's trojan horse signatures, a trojan horse is not a virus, but a program created to infiltrate a computer in order to be able later for the hacker to receive information on your computer, and of course to get if possible a credit card number account to use it.
As more and more Anti-virus programs can detect it, trojan horse creators change the signatures to make detection more difficult, that's why you need a specific program to rid off this betrayal, program able first in your memory to detect the backtrace of the worm hidden somewhere in your hard drive, keeping asleep until you will be connected to internet to wake up....then to destroy the worm and all DLL's connected to it in order to neutralize definitly the corruption.
Some trojan's are destructive, so in some particular case, it's better to keep the trojan in your computer, but inactive. It's what is doing Trojan Remover 6.15 try it, this is a freeware for one month but fully updated.....

Hi there,

I got some problems with my Microsoft Interent Explorer. When I scanned my computer using AVG 6.0 (free version), it discovered "Trojan Horse.downloader.A" in a file called "IELOADER.DLL". It failed to heal it or remove the file.
Any suggestions??

The same thing is happening to me, I have windows XP and don't know how to delete the restore points like was suggested. I can get into the system restore window but all it will let me do is go back to a restore point, not delete them, so how do I do this?? thanks
