Hello everyone

I have a Trojan Downloader located at C:\WINDOWS\system32\comca.dll
I have tried 3 types of trojan remover but it still remains even though AVG free, has quarantined it?Every time It keeps coming back and AVG then tries to heal the same problem again. I'm at my wits end with this,so would anyone be kind enough to offer any advice how I can remove it please.
I'm recently new to computers so please patient. Thanking you & regards Martin

download and install
spybot serach & destroy 1.5 (NEW)

AVG Free

AVG Anti spyware

CW Shredder standalone

run the updates for all of these programs, then go into safe mode and run them one by one not all at the same time. If you have another Anti virus tool then remove that before installing AVG free.

Also go to Start >> Run type: msconfig
look at all the enterys under the STARTUP tab and carefully deselect those you believe are Malicious, if you are unsure type them on here and we can instruct weather to remove or not.

do this and then come back with results.

or you can click on my red link and all great free software is listed on one page. I would suggest Avast Free instead of AVG...IMO, Avast is a good no muss no fuss AV while protecting and stopping viruses in REAL-TIME while surfing the net so no scheduled scans are needed. AVG doesn't stop viruses in real-time while you surf the net....don't let me confuse you...AVG will alert you when you D/L a bad prog, but not while surfing webpages.

Some HELP in posting on Cnet plus free progs and instructions Glad to Help!
