My Norton AV has found a trojan horse called "datehack.exe". Norton seems to have taken care of it for me. I did not open the file in question. How can I be sure it is gone for good and does anyone know anything about this trojan horse? thanks

To find out more information, check the virus libraries of both Network Associates (McAfee) and Symantec (Norton).

A Google searchwill take you right to them. 8-)

so long as your norton is fully updated, and it still says your system is clean, then I'm pretty sure it will be.

So far I know that program should hack the registration date of your Norton Antivirus. Norton itself recongnize it as a potentional Virus/Trojan. But now I'm not sure what that program actually does. Maybe it is a chip trick to install a trojan on to your computer...
