But for a few days antivirus is giving the message of trojan "eplorer.exe" found .It has qurintined it but after that it is giving the message of explorer.exe again and again. And since i am having this message i feel that the speed of internet is slow.
Please tell me what to do ?

Getting additional Spam? Purity Scan is likely one of the reasons for this.

The easiest way to delete this nasty little Spyware piece of @#$% as well as other related trojans is to run Task Manager and while that is running perform a search for any of the suspect executable files (such as winserv.exe).

If the search finds the files you a seeking, go back to the Task Manager and find the executable and end the process. Then go back to your search and delete the file (you should be able to at this point).

Finally, if you a running Windows 2000 such as myself it would also be a good idea to insert your installation CD, boot from that, enter the Recovery Console and execute the following commands:

fixmbr
fixboot

P.S. In addition to winserv.exe, Purity Scan is also known as winservn.exe. Others to look out for include:

WINLOGON .exe (Note the space between the N and the dot)
EXPLORER .exe (Again, note the space between the R and the dot)

Hope all of this helps!!!

Regards,

KJ
