Hey, I've got quite a weird problem with a Trojan dropper virus. I have somehow got a trial version of Norton on my computer, which runs virus scans every once in a while. Now, today it found 13 Trojan dropper viruses in the C:\WINDOWS\system32\NetworkService32 directory. Now, this is where the problems start.
Firstly, since it's a trial version, it cannot remove the viruses. So I ran some scans on the folder with F-Secure, which found 9 viruses of the same type.
When I tried to remove them, F-Secure said these files are in different archives(such as ZIP) and cannot be removed. The second main problem is that there is no such folder as NetworkService32 in my system32! Furthermore, when searching for the files that were infected, none were found. I scanned the whole system32 for viruses and still found 9, but when I scanned the contents IN the folder, all was clean... What should I do?
I am terribly confused, so any help is welcome:)
