I'm on Windows 98. I'm getting a pop up saying virus: Trojan Downloader.winfavorit.A
. this Trojan is found in the \windows\temp\winfavorites.exe
or sometimes in \windows\temporary internet files\winfavorites.exe and even something in c:\program files\winfavorites.exe.when i find the files i delete them. but as soon as i connect to the internet, using dial up, i get the message saying the trojan is there.
i've tried The Cleaner, AdAware, Spyhunter, AVG, Bazooka. but none of them seem to be removing the file. well "Bazooka Adware and Spyware Scanner" found it and gave me instructions how to remove it, but after removing it, i connect to the internet, then the trojan is here again.
can somebody help me please?
thank you so much.
i'm really desperate.

You need a firewall if you don't have one -
ZoneAlarm is free but there are others.
www.zonelabs.comYou have other bugs on your system that bring this virus back. See the following post but ignore the bit about disabling the restore folder (Win 98 does not have one)....
