I have a user that twice now has sent mass SPAM out of his account (not by his choosing). After the first incident, we gave him a new laptop and created a new Outlook profile on the new laptop. About two weeks later the problem happened again. I noticed that Outlook had a rule in it forwarding all inbound messages to a hotmail account (not his account, nor did he create the rule). Has anyone evr heard of a trojan or virus with this capability? The SPAM being sent is a Chinese business scam (similar to the Nigerian scam.) His mailbox comes up clean for virus scans, both locally and on our Exchange server.

Did you delete the rule? Are you sure the messages actually were sent from his account? In my Contacts, the very first one is !000, so that in the unlikely event my PC gets infected with a worm that spams, I will be notified immediately.
