Trojan Byte Verify, HD unrecognized

Comment:
The trojan Byte verify infected my computer recently and since then my slave hard drive is unrecognized by the OS. When I go into setup it shows up only as "unknown device." Norton Antivirus seemed to protect my master drive just fine. However, at this point, I can't even run the AV program on the slave drive since it's unrecognized.
Is there anyway to get the computer to recognize the drive?
