Hello,
I am running Trend Micro Client/Server/Messaging Suite. Some of the clients are not showing up on the client tree. I did a remote install to install it on the client which worked fine. Things I have tried:
- Restarting master service on server
- Restarting listener service on client
- Uninstalling/reinstalling OfficeScan on client
- Using ipXfer.exe to reconfigure clientI have also wiped the database (HTTPDB folder) and let it recreate itself. This works if I go and unload/reload the client straight away but I couldn't do it on all clients quickly, and for some reason I'll just get this problem with a different client.
Telnetting to the correct ports from and to client and server works, and on the client going to server/officescan/console/cgi/cgionstart.exe (if that's the right URL) shows up with "-2" which is correct.
I have searched the knowledge base on the Trend Micro site and followed all instructions that I could find but nothing has worked.
Any help appreciated,
Thanks.

Something I've just realised - I have 13 clients showing up (should be more like 20-25), and it says I have 11 seats.
Could this be the problem? If so shouldn't it only be showing 11 clients since it's only licenced for 11 seats?
I don't know much about the licencing so that may have not made sense...

It made sense to me. I have experience with the Trend Client Server Suite. and it sounds like a licensing problem to me.
