this is driving me crazy. i have tried deleting everything with symantec i could find to get rid of it. now when ever i right mouse click on a file or anything i get a pop up window that symantic antivirus is trying to install, it looks to install and then says-the feature you are trying to use is on a cd or other removable disk that is not available, insert symantec antivirus disk and click ok. i then click on cancel and it comes up with an error code 1706 and says-no valid source for symantec antivirus windows installer can not continue. then after a little time it will go to the normal right mouse click features. i did find a dir. under program files\common files called symantec sharred. i can not delete that? also if i go to services, local i see 6 entries for symantec but i have disabled all of them. how do i get this crap program to stop trying to load when ever the right mouse is clicked. THANKS SOOOOO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!
